Greatest invention for outdoor cooking since charcoal briquettes! : The Grilled Pizza Stone
I ordered the Grilled Pizza Stone for my husband for Father's Day after he had grilled pizza at a friends house and came home raving about it. This friend basically made his own stone and talked about how it took him years to get the hang of it. We were a little intimidated but the first time we used it we turned out a half-dozen absolutely perfect pizzas. Better than any we've eaten in restaurants in fact. Just be sure to buy a good peel as well. Our kids and their friends are dazzled. We set up a buffet of ingredients and let everybody build their own. Perfect crust too. You can make it thick and soft if you don't pre-cook or pre-cook one side, flip and then fill for a crunchier crust. Yum!
